Our School

The Loreto sisters went to Nepal in 1996 at the invitation of Msg. Anthony Sharma s.j. Loreto Education Development Centre Dharan, Nepal has two project centers one at Okhrey and the other at Dharan.

The Okhrey Community Health Center was begun by Sr Christine Gurung in 1993. In 1996 she moved into a house in Dharan which had been vacated by the SCN sisters. She was joined by Sr Elizabeth D’Souza and began the education Centre there doing the Pastoral work and taking spoken English classes to small groups of young women.

The target group is women and children of low income groups.
